Media and civil organizations in Sri Lanka staged a protest on 04 of June in front of the Negombo bus stand to protest the Thursday's mob attack on the Convener of the web Journalists Association Freddy Gamage. Joining the protest the assaulted editor of Meepura news web site told BBC that the police had arrested two suspects but the real culprits who led the attack are still at large even after he provided the names of those to the police.
