WhyHunger
and
Hard Rock organizations are supporting to NAFSO women and Children
programs
in war affected areas and to the fisheries related activities in Sri
Lanka. The
partnership was began after the war and continue to support NAFSO work
during
the past 3 years. The idea of visit to Sri Lankan beneficiaries
physically was
raised by WhyHunger team. They want to meet the communities, learn the
situation, find what way the life and livelihoods enhanced with the
support of
WhyHunger and Hard Rock Café through NAFSO in the northern district of
Jaffna
and some possible areas in south was the plan for the visit.They have
discussed with us 22 of October .In that discussion could shared our
vision, mission ,our concerns and main activities.Then they visited
Negombo lagoon and could could have given sea plane struggle.After that
they visited Sri Vimukthi women organization.Then they went to the
Jafnna and visited welfare camps and children activities which was
conducted by the NAFSO
