Media briefing was conducted at Southern fisheries organizations office on illegal fishing , Other fisher issues and benefit that they got from the Government on 06 th of March.Two fishermen , Regional comity president, Owner of the beach seeing, fisher woman,SFO Women coordinator, Coordinator of the SFO and advocacy and policy coordinator of NAFSO joint for the media briefing.

They explain the benefit that they got such as
*Due to the reduce of Fuel prices they could save 40 present of money.So they got chance to fishing daily.
*Most of the beach seeing stated and 150 Families benefit in each Medal because last four five years light course already stop due to fisher campaign but jest after the presidential election light course started in Ambalangoda .So fisher people with SFO Started campaign again .So Cabinet ministry of fisheries announced and promised to the people 05 of March that they not give any chance to the light course .Fishermen said now sea is very peaceful .
In the same time these fishermen ask from government to continue this rules in other areas of the country .Specially in Kalpitiya ,Trincomalee,Batticoloa ,Mulathiue and Kilinochchi.
