Trincomomalee district fisheries solidarity movement -Monthly meeting

Monthly district comity meeting was held at Sumadagama temple at Trincomalee. Their main objective of the meeting was to build the new office berries for the  District organization.
16 Villages members have joint to the organization.They are Muththunagr,Kappalthurai,Vilankulam,Kirikunchamalei,Pumbuar,Andankulam,Sumadagama,Salli, Karamaleiuththu,Wiranager,Manayaweli,Lovelane,Mahamayapura,Mohomadi nager,Six miles post and Smudtragama. Finally they decided to select the leaders in next meeting which will be held on 08 of December.In that meeting they will prepare plan for the 2014 .

     

Human right festival 14 0f 2013

Second day of  human right festival started with seminar and common discussion of the human right violations.More than 200 people have come in front of the Sirikotha and started the protest .So organizes give message to the media how the government violated  people basic  rights.In the same time Bodubala sena Buddhist monk and other Buddhist monks enter the festival place them tense situation followed and finally they went back

Human right festival 13 of November 2013

Open ceremony of the Human rights festival was held at the Sirikotha hall.on the 13 th evening with all the civil society leaders,trade unions ,NGOs ,religious leaders and political leaders. Samagibalaewege organized this festival but  some people against this human right festival So they started protest in front of the Sirikotha. They have given the support by the government.Although government stopped all the protest during the CHOGM period they could conducted the protest and they tried to destroy the UNP leader vehicle when he entered the Sirikotha .
